TLI Road Races
7 new races come to our region for 2010. A combination of efforts from Peter Dungworth, Marc Etches and Rob Blackburn together with Sheffrec CC, Whirlow Wheelers and Sharrow CC.
NORTH MIDLANDS SATURDAY LEAGUE
Open to all TLI Cycling Age categories.
HQ Greendale Oak Public House, Cuckney – Course, Circuit of Carburton Lake
Start 2.00pm – Distance 45 miles - All Categories – Three ability based Groups.
Series One - 27th March, 24th April, 22nd May
Entry Closes 15th March - Members only.
Series Two - 19th June, 17th July, 14th August
Series Two - Entry Closes 10th May - Members Only
Series Entry Fee - £15 or £29 for both Series.
Special Condition, Ride two, Marshall one.
No Entries on the Line or for individual events.

British Cycling Mens Circuit Race Series Support Races
These national based events are fast, frantic and very technically challenging. Races are run on closed town centre roads. Field's are normally full well before the closing dates so be sure to get your entires in early. One to recommend is the Otley Town Centre Circuit Races where a 3000+ crowd watch the event and the atmosphere is electric.

Darley Moor Circuit Races - Ashbourne
Darley Moor events are usually fast, high tempo races on a wide open smooth tarmac closed circuit. As the races are classed as closed circuit the numbers racing are quite high. One drawback to these races is the wind. The long straights and open circuit make often make races windy with riders spread right across the track in echelons. As you can see from the image above, the final lap is a frantic dash to the line!!

White Rose Youth League
The league was established in 2006 with a series of 9 events on the newly resurfaced and remodelled Richard Dunn Circuit at Odsal, Bradford. The league expanded in the following year with a pilot 4 events at the kart track at Wombwell. In 2008 it is proposed to hold 8 league events at Wombwell and culminating in the Yorkshire Region Youth circuit Race championships. The circuit is smooth tarmac and 865m in length.
Classed as technically challenging. Races are open to all under 8/10/12/14/16 or Youth A/B/C/D/E riders.
Events orgainised in partnership with British Cycling by Sheffrec CC and Birdwell Wheelers.
